I have an 18,000 gallon, in-ground pool. I got this pump last year but it just wasn't keeping up. This year I replaced it with a 1 HP pump which is just right for my pool. This pump works fine but it was not powerful enough for my pool. I guarantee it works or you can send it back as long as you can prove you had a qualified electrician hook it up.
