Hayward Northstar Pool Pump with A. O. Smith motor

Just replaced my inground Hayward Northstar pool pump and motor with a variable speed system. These motors are excellent and durable, lasting seven or more years. The whole unit will serve well as a cheap replacement unit or as parts for this discontinued system. The pump does have a slight leak that requires, according to my pool guy, a Northstar gasket rebuild kit available on Amazon.
