Recommended for pools up to 10000 gallons ex. Pool 24'x12'x52" or 22'x12'x48" or 20'x 52. Beside the sand, our pool sand filter is also compatible with polyester pool filter balls, which have a stronger adsorption capacity and a faster filtration speed than traditional filter media. System flow rate 1370gal/h (with 44lbs sand) or 1580gal/h (with 1.2lbs filter balls). Completely filter a 18'x48 circular pool in only 4 hours. When the pressure begins to go beyond 1.5bar by 2-3 ticks, it's time to clean the filter media. Generally, we recommand to do a ragular bachwashing (2-3 mins) of sand at least once a week for the best filteration perfermance. After the work is over, there is no need to open the tank. The waste water can be quickly drained through this drain hole. Reinforce the pressure hose with 2 clamps and 2 hose reducers provided to effectively avoid water leakage.
