Effective July 19, 2021 the US Dept of Energy regulations on single speed, two-speed and booster pumps go into effect. Commonly found on inground pool pumps such as Sta-Rite Max-E Glas, Dura Glas, Dyna Glas and many other pumps requiring a 48Y square flange frame motor. 48Y motors do not have internal threaded hole in shaft.
